PHOENIX, AZ June 2, 2020 – As summer approaches, Bumkins gets ready to release several new products in its line of silicone baby products. Geared towards the youngest of fans, these products are bound to become new favorites as baby develops.
Bumkins’ mission is to make mealtime fun and easy for modern families. The Silicone First Feeding Set, released a few years ago, has become a fan favorite, with parents using the bowl from baby-led weaning stages up through toddlerhood. “One request we’ve received has been for the ability to purchase the spoon from the set individually so that a parent can use the spoon to feed the baby, while also allowing the baby to have their own spoon to hold and manipulate,” says Jakki Liberman, President of Bumkins. As an answer to this request, three sets of Silicone Dipping Spoons will arrive this summer. Each set will consist of three double-ended spoons identical to those in the First Feeding Set, in a complementary palette of colors.
While most people may think that a baby’s self-feeding journey begins when food is brought into the mix, it actually begins with the sensory experience and development of motor skills that come when babies explore teething toys with their mouths. To help with this stage, Bumkins is launching two new teething toys.
The Silicone Teething Rings are a set of four textured rings that babies can easily pick up, hold on to, and teethe on to soothe sore gums while also developing jaw muscles. These skills will form the foundation for self-feeding. Not only are the rings easy for babies to hold, they are large enough that they could also be worn on the wrist by a parent, keeping them nearby for whenever teething pains strike.
Another teething toy launching at the same time is the set of Silicone Teething Charms. Three fun-shaped textured silicone charms are strung on a larger ring allowing babies to choose one or all of them to chew on or play with. Available in four different color palettes, the Teething Charms are sure to please little ones looking to take a bite out of teething.
